Forest Garden Shovelstrode – Eco Tourism Project
Charles is currently designing a Forest Garden in Sussex over a 5 acre site. The project will become an educational facility for people wishing to learn about Forest Gardening – which follows the system of permacultre. It is a sustainable method of of growing many different plants within various layers from rootzone to upper trees canopy which can be harvested to provide food, saps, fibres, dyes and medicines. Forest Garden Shovelstrode will also offer a range of woodland craft courses, and a ‘Back to Nature’ camping experience will be available from Spring 2010.
